My imagery springs from a keen sense of wonder, often triggered whenever I encounter examples of great art or extraordinary science. I am fascinated by the action of powerful forces such as whirling hurricanes and twisting tornadoes, by the mysteries of gravitation and magnetism, as well as by the repeating curvilinear patterns that abound in nature and the universe beyond.
Because such nonlinear structures or systems arise in a wide variety of contexts from the sub-atomic to the cosmic in scale, the abstractions in this series allow for a diversity of interpretations.
